Dr. M.R. Ravi, IAS, belongs to 2012 batch of Indian Administration Service. Academically, he holds Masters Degree in M.A (History), M.A (English, Gold Medalist) in Journalism and Ph.D in History from University of Mysore.
He has professional experience as Journalist in a leading English daily of Mysore. He worked as Lecturer at various degree colleges as KAS Officer of the State. Further, he worked in various capacities viz., as Assistant Director, Department of Collegiate Education, Assistant Commissioner, Hunsur & Karwar Sub-Divisions and Senior Assistant Commissioner in Madikeri, Kodagu.
He also served as Commissioner, Mysore City Corporation, CMC, Shivamogga and Additional Regional Commissioner, Mysore and as MD, KSTDC, Bengalure as IAS Officer. He has also worked as Private Secretary to Hon’ble Minister for Higher Education, Government of Karnataka. He was CEO, Zilla Panchayath, Mangalore, Commissioner for Textile Development & Director Handlooms, Bengaluru and Deputy Commissioner & District Magistrate, Chamarajanagar District.
As CEO, Zilla Panchayath, Dakshina Kannada, he won two national awards for Swacha Bharath during 2018. Further, he was also awarded Best Election Officer from Election Commission of India, Bengaluru during 2019.
He is a qualified trainer in TQM and HRM. He has also been trained in Disaster Management by NIDM, New Delhi.
He is prolific author who has written several l books both in Kannada & English, some of them are Modern Education & Social Change, Dr.Ambedkar Illada Bharatha and Jeevavana Sourabha etc., and latest work being “Best of Dr M.R. Ravi.” During his tenure he maintained good administration and law and order effectively.

Govt of Karnataka has appointed Sri. D.P. Prakash, KAS as Executive Director in KSIIDC and he has assumed office on 9.12.2020. He has served in various Departments of Government of Karnataka such as Assistant Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner and Joint Commissioner at Commercial Tax Dept. Private Secretary to Hon’ble Speaker, Private Secretary to Hon’ble Minister for RDPR, Chief Accounts Officer of Social Welfare Dept. Before joining the government service, he has served as Director in Jain group of Institutions.
He was the Master Trainer on GST and TDS and has delivered series of lectures in Karnataka as well as in other States. He has an experience of addressing problems of Export Houses, SEZs and EOUs under GST by serving as a member of expert group of GST Council on Exports, SEZ and EOU. He is a good orator on leadership skills, personality development, and inter personal relations. He has published articles, research papers in journals and newspapers on various issues. He was an anchor and a moderator on many live programmes for electronic media. Academically he holds Post Graduate in Physics from Mysore University and belongs to 1998 batch Group ‘A’ Officers.

He has joined KSIIDC as Deputy Manager during 1996. He holds Post Graduate degree in Business Administration from Bangalore University. He has worked as an Accounts Officer in NSIC Ltd. for 5 years before joining KSIIDC. Worked in different positions and divisions such as Recovery, Legal and IPD. Presently heading the Finance & Accounts and Financial Services, Company secretary Departments.

He has joined as Deputy Manager during 1994 in KSIIDC. Has worked in C&I Dept, BSD, Hubli Zonal office, Recovery Dept. He holds Master of Commerce from University of Mysore, Master of Business Administration (Finance) from Karnataka State Open University, Mysore, Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management and Post Graduate Diploma in Operation Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University. He has worked as a lecturer in University of Mysore. He has worked in Hubili Zonal Office from May 2012 to October 2015. He is now as DGM heading Real Estate Department. Additionally, he is also handling recovery portfolio.

Dr. Tanaji Rathod

Dr. Tanaji Rathod is working as Deputy General Manager for Personnel and Administration Dept., Information Technology Dept., in KSIIDC. He has joined the Corporation as Deputy Manager during 1996 and worked in various divisions like, Finance and Accounts, Project developments, financial services & merchant banking, Recovery of industrial loans, IT BT parks, Airport projects, PPP projects, legal matters etc., He has handled various funded-cases at Head office, Mangalore and Gulbarga zonal offices. He has worked as General Manager and Managing Director in Social Welfare Dept. of Government of Karnataka.
He has presented various technical research papers in IIMs and IITs. So far, his twelve research papers have been published in various reviewed journals on power sector, finance, accounting etc. He has undergone various professional, management development training programs in reputed institutions and have done PPP courses in IIMB, World Bank Group, ATI etc.,
Academically, he holds Ph.D in Finance and Accounting from Karnatak University Dharwad, Post Graduate in Commerce from Shivaji University, Kolhapur and he is gold medalist in MBA -Finance. He has conferred national award for work done in the development of social sector and implementation of govt projects. His current research interest is in the matters of legal issues in ppp, socio-economic policies, corporate laws etc.,

He has joined KSIIDC as Deputy Manager during 1997. He holds Post - Graduate degree in Master of Commerce from Shivaji University, Kolhapur. He worked in different positions and divisions in KSIIDC such as Recovery, Appraisal, Infrastructure Planning Division, Finance & Accounts, Internal Audit Department and also worked as Deputy Special Officer in Food Karnataka Limited.
